En los juegos de azar, 
a casi todos nos gusta apostar; 
por eso este poema voy a publicar, 
y mi intención no es hacerte dudar.

Apuesta por mí, cada centavo, 
yo sé que tú darás en el clavo; 
sabes que soy tu amante y esclavo, 
pues en este juego yo soy el más bravo.

Te aseguro que nada vas a perder, 
ser hombre de honor es mi deber; 
no te engañare como hicieron ayer, 
no es pecado quererte como mi mujer.

Apuesta por mí, sin miedo, 
olvida si te señalan con el dedo; 
en tu corazón mandar yo puedo, 
y sabes que allí muy dentro me quedo.
