Life is full of contradictions.

Where there is light there is darkness, where there is height there is depth, where there is joy there is sadness. Alternations between them signify the meaning of existence. A flat life would not make any sense . It would be boring and quite miserable. No excitement, no expectations, no motivation, thus no need to create, to be.

As it is all around us, it is also within us. Each of us has its bright and dark side. And that is totally fine and normal. Both sides need to be embraced, first by us and then by others. When you know and love your strengths and weaknesses, you accept yourself.

The yin and yang. Very true! The challenge is to be alright with good and bad happening simultaneously. I'm getting better at that... you know, being content with what's happening at any given moment. But it's still difficult even though I see the patterns.

My only problem with this, and my complaint to the Universe I guess, is that you should be able to have the hangover first, and then the drunken high. That way you could have an idea of just how much fun you were willing to pay for :-)
