My ideal evening...

Those days are the best...

I love cocooning, so cold rainy weather it's a perfect opportunity to make myself comfortable at home and relax. It is also a great opportunity to light the fireplace!

Sitting by the fire is relaxing and makes a winter (or fall) evening simply amazing... The flickering light, the crackling sounds, the distinctive smell and the warmth of the fireplace are so satisfying. I believe that this love for the hearth is deeply ingrained and borne out of evolution. Since the prehistoric times people used to socialise around camp fires which gave them a warm feeling while bonding with friends as well as a sense of safety.  

It can also create the perfect atmosphere and best background for a biriba night! Good company, wine, finger-food, fire and cards! I couldn't ask for anything better than that!
