I remember those days of my childhood, in which my father took his Bible by the hand and led us to Sunday school. It was a happy childhood and we shared with other children, however we did not have much notion about the immense love of God.
#
My father was God-fearing, but as I grew up and related to friends in my small town and fellow students, I deviated from the ways of the Lord and the teachings my father gave me. In truth, I became a very rebellious boy and no longer wanted to attend church with my father.
#
When I lost my communion with God, problems arose both in my home and in my personal life. My father struggled to maintain his relationship with God while my brothers and I became very rebellious.
#
My father fell ill and everything got complicated. Things were no longer going well, but the problems increased. My father went into a liver crisis and died of that disease.
#
I made the decision to fix my personal life with God and renounce the life of vices and friendships that did not help me at all for the better.
#
My rebellious life reminds me of the proud life of Jonah, when he refused to obey God and bring the message of salvation to the people of Nineveh. Jonah's rebellion cost him a lot, so much so that they had to throw him into the sea and there he was swallowed by a large fish, which kept him in its belly for three days amid all that rot in the fish's mouth, that he himself Jonah says that it seemed that he was in Sheol. (Jonah 2).

When we distance ourselves from God, evil haunts us and dominates us. The same thing happened with King David when he planned adultery and murder against one of his best friends, Uriah.
#
David himself recounts in Psalm 51 the way he felt when he did all that evil against Uriah. He became ill and spiritually felt bitter because he had lost the joy of salvation.
#
There are many experiences that can be shared when the relationship with God is not good. However, when we seek to improve the relationship and intimacy with God, everything becomes a success in the life of the Christian.
#
When Jonah repented and sought to improve his relationship with God, the Lord forgives him and Jonah fulfills the task God had assigned him.
#
Similarly, when David repented of his great wickedness, God forgives him and returns the joy of salvation to him.
#
When I personally began to improve my fellowship with God, the Lord restored me both spiritually and materially. God's blessings began to increase in my life, so much so that he has given me a pastoral ministry and allowed me to work for 27 years in one of the main companies in the country, in which he gave me my home and many important things for a better lifetime.
#
Being successful in the relationship with God will help us to know the goodness and love of God, and to overcome evil, especially rebellion.

# Ten éxito en tu relación con Dios y vencerás al mal
#
Recuerdo de aquellos días de mi infancia, en la que mi padre tomaba su Bíblia de la mano y nos llevaba a la escuela dominical. Era una infancia feliz y compartíamos con otros niños, sin embargo no teníamos mucha noción sobre el inmenso amor de Dios.
#
Mi padre era temeroso de Dios, pero en la medida que fui creciendo y relacionándome con los amigos de mi pueblito y compañeros de estudio, me desvié de los caminos del Señor y de las enseñanzas que me daba mi padre. En verdad, me volví un muchacho muy rebelde y ya no quería asistir a la iglesia con mi padre.
#
Al perder mi comunión con Dios surgieron los problemas tanto en mi hogar como en mi vida personal. Mi padre se esforzó en mantener su relación con Dios mientras que mis hermanos y yo, nos volvimos muy rebeldes.
#
Mi padre enfermó y todo se complicó. Las cosas ya no estaban saliendo bien, sino que aumentaron los problemas. Mi padre entró en una crisis hepática y murió de esa enfermedad.
#
Tomé la decisión de arreglar mi vida personal con Dios y renunciar a la vida de vicios y amistades que en nada me ayudaban para bien.
#
Mi vida de rebeldía me hace recordar la vida de soberbia de Jonás, cuando se negó obedecer a Dios y llevar el mensaje de salvación a los habitantes de Ninive. La rebeldía de Jonás le costó mucho, tanto fue que lo tuvieron que arrojar al mar y allí lo tragó un gran pez, el cual lo mantuvo en su vientre por tres días en medio de toda aquella pudrición en la boca del pez, que el mismo Jonás cuenta, que parecía que se encontraba en el Seol. (Jonás 2).
#
Cuando nos alejamos de Dios nos asecha el mal y nos domina. Esto mismo ocurrió con el rey David cuando planeó el adulterio y el homicidio contra uno de sus mejores amigos, Urías.
#
El mismo David relata en el Salmo 51, la manera en que se sintió cuando hizo toda esa maldad contra Urías. Enfermó y espiritualmente se sentía en amargura porque había perdido el gozo de la salvación.
#
Son muchas las experiencias que se pueden compartir cuando la relación con Dios no está buena. Sin embargo, cuando buscamos mejorar la relación y la intimidad con Dios, todo se vuelve un éxito en la vida del cristiano.
#
Cuando Jonás se arrempintió y buscó mejorar su relación con Dios, el Señor lo perdona y Jonás cumple con la tarea que Dios le había asignado.
#
De igual manera, cuando David se arrepintió de su gran maldad, Dios lo perdona y le vuelve el gozo de la salvación.
#
Cuando en lo personal, comencé a mejorar mi comunión con Dios, el Señor me restauró tanto en lo espiritual como en lo material. Las bendiciones de dios comenzaron aumentar en mi vida, tanto ha sido que me ha dado un ministerio pastoral y me permitió laboral por 27 años en una de las principales empresas del país, en la cual me dio mi casa y muchos vienes importantes para una mejor vida.
#
Tener éxito en la relación con Dios nos ayudará a conocer las bondades y el amor de Dios, y a vencer el mal, sobre todo, la rebeldía.
