I captured a rare for Ecuador kingfisher.
It hunts  very effectively. Metabolism this bird is very fast, so it should eat 60% of its own weight every day.

But, alas, I was not able to capture the process of hunting. The bird was shy and did not wait until I set up the camera and choosed position.
