We all love movies, it is an escape for all of us sometimes, a way to get your mind from all the hustle and bustle of this way, i way to find some peace and solitude in a fantasy that perhaps may not even exist. So i appreciate that we are given this opportunity to reminisce about a Ghanaian movie we watched.

For Ghanaian movies they are unlike hollywood, most of them focus on only real life stories and experiences as our culture demands, as a way to teach out young ones lessons and guide them on the path of life, avoiding errors that our elders may have made in their life's journey.

#### A Husband for Daddy

This movie features one of my all time favorite Ghanaian actors, Jackie Appiah and another great ghanaian actress who i really adore Yvonne Okoro. The movies revolves around these two sisters and their Dad Kofi Adjorlolo who wants his daughters to get married before he supposedly passes away.

This puts our Ladies in a frenzy as the scour their immediate relationships and relations for someone to present to their father as their boyfriend and potential husband. The movies is comedy and you will certainly have a fare share of your laugh when you watch it.

Jackie is the Holico (Extreme Christian) wherease Okoro is the worldly type not sure whether she was an atheist or not though. They both go through rough paths in their attempt to secure a husband through tricks, going to the past, fight and a whole lot. Guys try to take advantage of their desperation and they get narrow escapes. 

In the end the Ladies come to the understanding that they are uncertain of what they want in life and although the ending may not compliment the fun that the whole story present it is a movie i liked and enjoyed the humor and i would recommend you take a look. If i am to rate it though i would give it 8/10. The movie is one of Shirley Frimpong's work and i must say she did great work with it.
