My other half is a nurse so I can't argue it very well, despite her knowing what inoculations actually are. As a single father for my boys prior, I was able to keep them from having to get any unnecessary shots. I had to sign several waivers and go a few rounds with the school board, but won my and their rights respectively, to decline their (the school system's) beliefs. To each their own. See this is my view on it... some of them are worth getting like the DTaP (tetanus diphtheria and pertussis) however I refuse to give them the flu shot, pneumonia, that stupid gardasil (for hpv), chicken pox, etc... it's one of those things you have to personally out weigh the risks verses benefits.. I personally dont believe adding chemicals to our body that isn't natural but some diseases the vaccines prevent isn't pretty either... only unvaccinated people are contagious to eachother and some vaccinated people are contagious to those unvaccinated.. but never is an unvaccinated person contagious to someone who is vaccinated.. My family personally isnt allowed to have the flu shot because it is an attenuated vaccine even if they claim it's not it is... I have lupus so my immune system is already outta whack.. Flu shots are tricky because there are 8 different major strains of the influenza virus and they have to basically predict which one will be more dominant in any given year. Then, that is what vaccination is doled out to the masses. You'd think and 'exact science' would have been figured out by now LOL

Lol.. I know right... I just know when the shot time comes around because the schools administer it here, that I opt my kids out of it and they have to be disinfected before coming in my house.l for like a week after. I have gotten the flu from someone who was vaccinated the day prior and entered my house.. then like 4 or 5 days later I'm being hospitalized.. Chemo / immunosuppressants suck...
