Our lives are the fragrance of Christ that rises to God, but this fragrance is perceived differently by those who are saved and those who are lost.



Greetings friends of the @heartchurch community, today I want to ask what is your aroma in the presence of God.

The sense of smell allows us to perceive the smell of everything that surrounds us in nature, we are also able to perceive those smells that are not natural, such as some chemical products for example, a characteristic of the smell is what is perceived from afar and while That which emits said aroma is impregnated with it will be better identified, for example even being far from the beach from afar we perceive the smell of the sea due to its concentration of its smell and everything it emits.

The apostle Paul says that we are the pleasant smell of Christ, clear the more time we spend in the presence of God, the more smell we will have of Him; We must resemble Christ in the way we feel, react, speak and live, instead the bad smells to the result of sin in our life, this is the smell of someone who finds it difficult to be humble, who has no peace in his heart, which lives doing evil apart from God and with bitterness in his heart.

When we begin to walk with Christ we change our way of living and soon we begin to emit the smell of our Lord in our lives, when we take care of the good of others we leave a pleasant smell not only in our own noses but in that of others.


a person with Christ reigning in his life is impregnated with his scent and leaves behind something very similar to the woman who puts on her best perfume to go out and who draws attention with her pleasant fragrance.

Let us be a pleasant perfume before our Lord and may we arrive as a fragrant smell before his presence.
