I don't know. If you are not running your own Beowulf cluster to play SM how can you ever be a pro player at it! They just need add a cooldown between gifting cards. That is biggest issues. Max/high level cards going to a dozens of accounts without a few hours getting champ. If they wanted to funnel the cards via selling it on the open market they have to be high enough that no one else bought it and they be paying what ever the market fee is. You then at least have the cost of buying a starter pack to just play rank. Which they could always increase. Best way to detour something like this is also one most players won't be happy with. If you suddenly could only gift cards once a season and had to buy the starter pack every season. That cut into profits quite a lot. Still with daily's they could come out ahead. Since everything is on the blockchain if someone really wanted to I'm sure they could simple search for the cards that are all changing hands together to one account and then another and make some kind of "shaming/deterrent list" While it is tempting to play on a few accounts. As a gamer I think that just quite dirty and so far I've resistance the urge of getting a few more free packs out the low low price of buying in on another account. With autopay and botting there only so much that can be done. Someone could simply own a alarming amount of new accounts with a new what ever cryptocurrency wallet they where using and have an amazing ride. RC and funding of a starter deck will be their biggest hold back but if they just ask in discord and are smart about it I'm sure they won't have that issue for long. You will also see people taking advantage of the ref commission as well.

>They just need add a cooldown between gifting cards. Good point, the difference between the gifting procedure and the sales procedure could be leveraged to protect the market while limiting mass play with the same cards. >had to buy the starter pack every season. That hits the gambling button again, although this is closer to what Magic: The Gathering has gotten away with.

Otherwise instead of paying out the daily booster packs daily they just tack it onto the end of the season and award it with season packs as well. Run an audit at the end and make "adjustments" if needed to ranking. If a group of cards have a pattern of filtering into the same dozen accounts revoke season rewards and tournaments. If someone been playing in sane amount of hours reduce rank to something more human with a heavy ranking fine. Have some kind of repeals process that will still grant anyone that been “wrongly” what they are owed and restore access. Some of these people appear to be playing 24/7. Though at this time those players are somewhat needed as there just not enough playing. I'm 405th at this with 3382 ranking yet I'm facing an alarming amount of top 50 players and ranking 10k plus. I wonder if at some point they will have to go by % based. 99% made it to bronze or higher. 10% to diamond or higher and 1% to champion. They might even be able to adjust the rewards and give them a boost as well if that has an impact on people having 10+ accounts each at champion.
