Art Basel is the world's premier art fair, which is in Basel, Switzerland. The fair is already open and the Woman With Dog, painted by Pablo Picasso in 1955, is offered for £25 million (€28 million).

I'm going to follow up on this particular case as I want to see the final price paid for this painting. I believe it will be an auction and the buyer may be anonymous as it happens very often. If you ask me, I would not buy it even if I would have that kind of money for a painting and maybe the buyer will not buy it either because finds it beautiful. This is an investment as the value of the paining can only go up (in theory).

Picasso is a strange artist. I'm not very familiar with his work, only know a few. While in Paris, I wanted to visit the museum, so one day I took the metropolitan, got off at the right station and went searching for the museum. The address of the museum was written down, I did my home works as always because I like to be prepared and not waste time getting lost. 

After some walking I found the street and started to search for the museum building. Those house numbers were very funny, I remember after 105 came 68, so I had to ask someone for directions. Anyway, I found the museum and to my surprise it was closed for renovation works and they forgot to mention that on their website.  It was a disappointing situation as my time in Paris was limited, could not wait for weeks or months for the museum to be renovated. 

In 2018, Picasso's painting called Les Femmes d'Alger was sold for $179.4 million ($189.6 million adjusted price), and Le Rêve  was sold in 2013 for $155 million ($166.7 million adjusted price)[source](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most_expensive_paintings). 

I can't estimate a price for this but I'm sure it's going to be all over the news, so we'll see.
