Earlier I wrote that [May was the best solar month ever](https://steemit.com/energy/@erikklok/best-month-for-solar-ever) for my solar system. Then I was wondering whether I would ever be able to surpass that record month. June turned out to be a good month (the best June so far), but not as good as May. July however might come close to the record of 424 kWh set in May.
Below you can see how much energy has been produced in the first 15 days of July. In total I'm already at 234 kWh, so I only need 190 in the next 16 days to meet the record. It sounds doable, but keep in mind that the days are becoming shorter again which makes the potential energy harvested on a day lower. I can't wait to see whether a new record will be set and will keep track of the progress closely.

Looking more in depth to the chart above, it can be seen that we started July with 8 days of (almost) permanent sunshine in The Netherlands. On the first of the month the PV-system produced a record of 18,88 kWh a day and the next 7 days all produced over 16 kWh. After that we had three relatively cloudy days, but the weather improved again after those days.
