As a government employee, I always get a salary every month. And usually, I always use the salary to shop for all my family's needs for a period of one month. And I always buy in large quantities, all the items that I can keep long.
Usually I always shop at Indomaret. One of the minimarkets located not far from my house, which sells almost all the daily necessities that I need. Every month I always buy the needs of the children first, then I buy other needs.

Things that I always buy are:

Dancow milk, (3 boxes of 900 gr) for my daughter. The price of one box is 79 thousand. So every month I spend money for my daughter's milk as much as 237 thousand rupiah.

SGM milk, (9 boxes of 900 gr) for my three boys. The price of a box is 77 thousand rupiah. And all of them spend as much as 693 thousand rupiah each month.

Pampers for my youngest child, worth 85 thousand rupiah.

Coffee, tea and sweetened condensed milk, cost around 100,000 rupiah every month.

6 kilograms of edible oil for each month, and costs around 75 thousand rupiah.

Bath soap, toothpaste, shampoo, hand and body lotion, hair oil, perfume, powder and several other necessities, cost around 550 thousand rupiahs per month.

Detergent to wash clothes (Daia), as many as 4 packs, and Molto deodorizers as much as 4 packs, all of which cost around 180 thousand every month.

Besides all that, I also always buy cookies or snacks for my children. And for this food, usually I spend more than 500 thousand rupiah each month.

The monthly electricity fee I have to pay is 600 thousand rupiah. The cost of water is 150 thousand rupiahs per month.

Because we also go to work, and every day we use motorbikes to go to work, we spend around 400 thousand rupiah to buy gasoline every month.

Besides that, we also spent a lot of money to buy fresh fish, vegetables and fruits that I always buy every day. And of course the price is different every day.

Four months ago, I had noted in a book, all the expenses that my family spent on daily necessities to be as detailed as possible. There is nothing to miss. I noted everything in a small notebook, all of our daily expenses. Because in addition to buying daily necessities, my husband and I often invite children to look for food outside every week. And on weekends, we often take them to the beach or to the children's playground. And all of them cost a lot of money.

After I add up all of them, our total monthly expenditure for grocery shopping, and all other needs, is close to 10 million rupiah per month. And if I divide by a week, we spend about 2 million more to shop. And if I add them in dollars, a week I spend around 160 USD, or around 152.4 SBD or around 751.2 Steem.

And when the co-19 pandemic as it is now, the most difficult to obtain is sugar. Even if there is sugar, the price can be so expensive. Before the pandemic the price of sugar was around 12 thousand rupiah for 1 kg. And when the pandemic is like now, the price of sugar rises to 25-30 thousand rupiah for 1 kg.
