I wake up today at 7:30 a.m. as I went to bed yesterday late. And when I thought I have leave today can't able to wake up early I don't know whether it is my mindset or physical weakness. My granny prepared today vada.  Vada is also a famous Indian local dish where during Tamilnadu local festival in all the houses peoples make vada and have it.  If you didn't have any idea about what are the above picture is vada.

<center><sub>***CATTLE WORSHIPING DAY***</sub></center>

Today is the day with Tamilan celebrated as a special day for a cow. During this day we make a clean both to the cows and buffalo and we make Puja for the cattle in our home.  This festival is called Pongal. This day today we prepare Pongal in the name of cattle hence we call it Mattu Pongal meaning cow Pongal. 

January 1 is English new year and in Tamil today is the new year as per the Tamil calendar. We call this month thai 1st. Thai is the month name and 1 is the date.

<center><sub>***COCONUT FARM***</sub></center>

After taking breakfast I went to my neighborhood village where we have plenty of coconut farms and paddy farming. It was rare to see the cultivation of crops in our area because of water scarcity.  We have to go to the neighboring village to see this what a pity.  

Our granny and grandpa also have 1 land to form but there is no water to make cultivation. Hope in the future the rain will fall and help the peoples here to cultivate their land.

<center><sub>***STOLLEN MANGOES***</sub></center>

And we stole mangoes from the neighbor's farmhouse. There is a saying in Tamil the mango Which is stolen from another owner it gives more taste than ours. I feel it was a hundred percent correct because I Today experienced it. In our own land, we have a mango tree but it doesn't taste like what I had today hence old Tamil saying is verified.

After enjoying a certain time in the farmhouse we returned back to our home in the evening. I had thought to make and portraits as a discontinued from the month. One of my uncles brought Staedtler pencil for me.  So I was eagerly shopping on the pencil to check the quality.  And it was really excellent in quality than I expected.
