# <center> “Koi Fish Bowl painting for Good luck #5” </center> <center> _( Acrylic on Clear resin using recycled bowls)_ </center>  **This Koi fish painting was my favorite and will be given to a very special person, i liked how the details came naturally. I also experimented with the lotus flower and the lily pods. I used 5 layers of acrylic and 6 layers of clear resin** # Here is my progress for this art >  _i started with preparing recycled bowls by wiping the surface with alcohol then poured the first layer of resin_  _applied my first layer of acrylic paint on resin, used free hand and imagination on how the koi fish would look like_ > i experimented with different surfaces, one with black, others with clear surface, then some white ceramic, and some i placed some pebbles and some i placed some gold leaf, and some i used acrylic in the resin to give some color.  _after applying the second layer of acrylic, i prepared my 3rd layer of resinusing envirotex, make sure to follow the direction on the mixing of the resin and hardener, it takes 12 to 16 hrs for it to dry qnd 72 hrs to completely harden like glass_  _4th layer of acrylic for the koi fish then 1st layer for the lotus flower_  _then 5th and final layer and the lotus with 2nd final layer, and last touch with the top fins of the koi fish_  _then to finish it up, i painted some lily pods for the very top layer, and applied my last layer of resin and wait for 24 hrs and its ready to be given to my special friend_  <center> ### _**Thank you for viewing my artwork and Merry Christmas Everyone**_ </center>
