#### What are dApps?
Decentralized Apps (dApps) are a system which allows its users to have full control and access to their data at all times. It is often referred to as the application of the future because of its unique system that can always be applied anytime and in the future. dApps was born out of Blockchain technology. dApps is using the same system of decentralization allowing its users the freedom to conduct any transactions without any hinderance. The peer-to-peer system whereby users actively participate in any transaction thereof within the system without the involvement of a centralized institution is being utilized.

#### Explain the working system of dApps?
The System used by dApps is called OPEN-SOURCE system, which allows the application code recorded on the system to be accessible to everyone. This method does not allow an unfair handling and managing of data recorded in the system because it is open to anyone that wants to access it.

dApps does not need any human assistance for its transactions rather it uses the SMART CONTRACT called LEDGERS which records all the transactions electronically since it is using the Blockchain digital system. There is no room for third party control during transactions which makes it cheaper and faster unlike the Centralized Apps that is controlled by humans.

#### What are the differences between dApps and other applications?
To differentiate dApps from other Applications, let me give you an illustration on why dApps is very unique. Let us say from Nigeria, I want to buy a Rangerover Discovery from Goldage in Canada using the dApps system. All I need is transfer money using the peer-to-peer system to Goldage account number given to me as he also operates on a Decentralised Blockchain technology. He in Canada will receive the money within minutes using the Blockchain decentralized technology of the dApps system. The cost and charges used to effect this transaction will be very minimal compared to using the Centralised system that will require a third party and it will take days before this transaction will be completed and its fees are usually high because 2 different countries are involved.

dApps is efficient with little or no mistakes. It does not require any human services (third party) unlike a Centralised system that will need a Customer Service, Tellers and signatories to be signed, Employees to run around for such duties to take place. It is a unique system that can always be applied by anybody at anytime in the Crypto space.

 [source](https://www.cryptopolitan.com/app-vs-dapp/)

#### Explain the advantages and disadvantages of dApps?
###### ADVANTAGES:

* dApps cannot be closed in any way once it has joined a Blockchain system because it is using digital Ledgers that records information automatically without a human assistance.
* There is no need for a third party to control the transactions on dApps and its very fast and cheaper while handling them.
* Using Smart Contract, transaction processes goes directly to the intended wallet within minutes once such transactions are validated and recorded herein.

###### DISADVANTAGES
Each transaction process require transaction fees because dApps run on thousands of devices across the world, the charges are not fixed but are based on the type of dApps used.
dApps users must pay with cryptocurrencies that are compatible with the blockchain network used. For instance you cannot pay for transactions on the Etherum network with a Steemit coin rather you pay with Etherum coins, they must be compatibility in the payment system.

All dApps created must issue their own coin token for their users to use in making payments for transactions carried out in their system.

#### How can dApps developers promote their apps?
dApps developers can promote their apps using the following methods:
* Issuing their own tokens as a means of payment for any transactions that takes place in their crypto App.
* The more often many people use the Token issued by a dApp developer, such Token price and value will increase thereby creating an avenue for more profit to the developers.
* As more and more tokens are issued from each of these dApps as projects, Investors who purchased such initial coin will also make more profit from their investments and new investors will also be attracted too. If the token issued by a dApp is often used by many people, the price of the token will automatically increase thereby opening up more business opportunities for investors.

#### and What should we pay attention to when using dApps?
We want to note that dApps is an independent application that does not belong to anybody
The security is highly guaranteed because it is part of a blockchain network, automatically since dApps joined the blockchain, it enjoys the same security that belongs to this blockchain network system.

There is similarity in the functions of all dApps that is why they can connect to each other, even if they are on different blockchain network.

dApps has the resistant ability to Bugs. When problems occur during a transaction, that issue cannot be transferred to the general network system because all existing data and nodes are being shared to all devices globally, so that a problem in a device in Lagos State Nigeria cannot affect a device in India. Resistance to attackers are already strongly built from the beginning.

#### How do we find the information of a dApp that we want to know? Provide the steps (Screenshot required).
First lets us see the 3 types of dApps, from there we get their different informations.

##### Type 1:
The first type is the dApps that uses its own financial system in payment for transactions within its own blockchain created cryptocurrency. The name of the dApps is after its own blockchain system e,g Bitcoin, Etherum, Cardano etc.

##### Type 2:
This is the dApps that run on the type 1 dApps blockchain using the tokens issued here as its own transaction tool. This type of dApps are mainly used for financial purposes like ICO which is a fundraising process for a blockchain project. There is every hope that the value of the ICO token made in the project will increase along with the development of the project.

##### Type 3
This last type is the type of dApps that is most often used today in social media, personal data storage and games. Many dApps developers are interested to create applications that will be used to run it. Most of these applications created are useful for our day to day living.

The first step is to visit the website of DappRadar, then you will be shown the home page of the website as shown in the image below. To see the latest ranking of all dApps, you can click the "Rankings" option at the top of the page.

You have to check from the website so you can know the lists of dApps that have been made so far. Below is the first step using a dApps monitoring feature called DappRader from the website www.dapprader.com, click on the “Rankings” option at top of the page:

After that you will see the latest ranking
PancakeSwap

As I scrolled down I choose JustSwap to know the statistics of the activity tracked within 24 hours.

Then to Swap the coin from JustSwap to Sunold to be collected on my TRONLINK

##### Conclusion:
Modernization has rapidly changed the way we do things and live our lives. Change is constant. The Applications we use on our smartphones and other devices will also continue to change and new ones too will be developed. One major change that we are looking forward to is from Centralized Apps to a Decentralized Apps that will bring freedom and transparency in handling transactions globally.
