"The Origin of Dragon Fruit and Its Benefits, from 2007 to 2021, many people have consumed NAGA fruit because the benefits have been proven to be very good.

You must have eaten dragon fruit. Where did the name dragon fruit come from? And what are the benefits of this fruit?

Dragon fruit is native to Mexico, Central America, and South America. This fruit comes from a type of cactus named Hylocereus and Selenicereus. So how did this fruit get to Asia? In 1870, the French from Guyana brought it to Vietnam as an ornamental plant. Since then, dragon fruit has been cultivated in Southeast Asian countries.

- The Vietnamese and Chinese consider this fruit a bringer of blessings. So, this fruit is always placed on the altar table between two green dragon statues. The red color of this fruit stands out from the green of the two dragon statues. Therefore, this fruit is called thang loy. In English thang loy means dragon fruit. That's where the name dragon fruit comes from.

- Dragon fruit contains various nutrients. There are vitamins C, B1, B3, and B12. There is also protein, fiber, carbohydrates, calcium, phosphorus, and iron. What are the benefits of dragon fruit for our body?

1.Help cure asthma and cough

Dragon fruit can be used to cure coughs. Asthma sufferers are also advised to eat this fruit. Dragon fruit can relieve respiratory disorders caused by coughing and acid. So if you are coughing or have asthma, you can eat this fruit.

2.Strengthens bones

As mentioned earlier, dragon fruit contains calcium, phosphorus, and iron. Therefore, this fruit is very good for bone health. All of these ingredients can fulfill the nutrition of your bones and make them stronger and healthier.
