When I wake up to check what kind of sunrise may unfold.  There are times when I think the thick clouds on the horizon will not yield any color.  However, sometimes you get an ominous red color that vanishes well before the official sunrise.

# Sunrise Video

For this photo shoot I focused on the distant horizon then turned off the auto-focus, but forgot to turn off the image stabilization on my lens. I strongly suspect that the image stabilization is causing the slight movements seen in the video. I used the shake reduction feature of my editing software to remove as much as possible, but it did not fix all of it.

The photographs in the video cover a 12 minute time-frame. This video stitches together 12 photos starting 25 minutes before the official sunrise.

All the photographs taken have been compiled into a 1 minute 23 second video. The photographs have not been enhanced, you see what I observed.

# Sunrise Photographs in Sequence

[Sunrise](https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/sunrise): *The time when you first see the sun in the morning.*

To give you an idea of the when the photographs were taken I am adding a T-time.  T-0 is sunrise, T-10 is 10 minutes before sunrise, and T+5 is 5 minutes after sunrise.


This is a representative sample of the photographs in the video.  The photographs have not been enhanced, you are seeing what I observed on this morning.
