There are two options to this day: one is the fact that it can be a day full of excuses and regrets or secondly, it can be a day full of achievement and progress. It is completely up to you to make the right choice out of the available options.

Remind yourself of something whenever you feel the urge to give an excuse. Remember, this is not some intellectual exercise, okay. This is about you, this is your life and so the quality of your world is affected by every action taken or avoided. 

Just as the same way you came come up with believable and intelligent excuses, you can, as well, come up with great achievements.
