A story was told to me about a man who took his trousers to a cloth mender and asked him to patch up just a little hole that was close to his trouser pocket.
As a good cloth mender, the man turned the cloth inside out and then began to tear the pocket with his hands, the owner of the cloth who waiting for his cloth patiently was surprised and had to stop the clothe mender reminding him, he asked him to patch the hole near the pocket and not tear.
The cloth mender did not answer him but continued tearing the cloth, the man who was becoming uncomfortable had to shout while using his hand to stop the cloth mender from causing more havoc to his cloth.
And so he said, " Sir, you are tearing up mycloth and not mending like Iasked you to, but the mender calmlyanswereed, **"Mr. I know exactly what I am doing"**.

After the cloth mender said those words, the customer could not say anything because he is just a customer while he was trained to mend clothes and he alone knows exactly what he is doing. As long as all he does ends up in patching the cloth.
God is telling us today, that He knows exactly what He is doing. He hears our complaints and He is working towards it.
You prayed for friends and instead of bringing you into relationship, He is making so many of your friends depart from you and you are wondring why that is happening, He knows exactly what He is doing. For him to bring you close to friends that will build you, He has to tear off the old friends that are not helping you grow spiritually and otherwise.
Like the bible says;
**MARK 2:22**
>And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the wine would burst the wineskins, and the wine and the skins would both be lost. New wine calls for new wineskins.”
Like the scripture above just illustrated, when we call or go to God and ask Him to fix us, when He wants to do that, hHe starts first by tearing us, He can not fix a new skin in an already old skin, instead, He tears us like the cloth mender did and begin to sow us afresh in a different shape, form and size.
So, when we begin to see things happening in our lives, things we did not pray for or the opposite side of what we prayed for, calm down, don't start complaining just believe in what He is doing because He knows exactly what He is doing.
God knows exactly what He is doing, so, when we see Him tearing down so manythings in our lives, let's just know that whenever He is fixing, He tears our old selves to give us a new self.
When it looks like everything is falling apart, He sees it and knows what is happening, just believe that He knows what He is doing.
The only problem man have is not knowing when God is trying to fix us and then we start complaining which only weakens us more.
So, just hold on even when things are not going the way it is meant to go, or like you prayed dor it to be, when you are having health issues , when your friends are leaving you, when your money is not enough for what you want, just believe that the God serve and call upon Him is fixing you up for better things and He knows how, when, where to do it.
He knows what he is doing, just keep on believing.
