One of the great commandment we are called to do is to love one.

The only way we as Christians will overcome the world and the trials we are facing today is to Love as Christ love the church.
The essential substance that can not be bought but was given to us is love.
**JOHN 3:16**
> For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Vs. 16
God gave us only begotten son not because we deserved it but because of His love for mankind. He couldn't sit and watch mankind die not minding the sins we've committed.
Thought this is the third day in the month of May but the first Sunday. I am here to admonish us to love ourselves.
In this period, where we don't know what will happen, the only way we can grow and unite as one is if we continue loving ourselves. You can show love by providing for your neighbour. Yea, it may look difficult but the little you giv to people whosoever it may be will be appreciated because you don't know what others are going through.
Wonder why God gave that commandment?
**MATTHEW 22: 36-40**
> Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Vs. 36
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Vs. 37
This is the first and greatest commandment. Vs. 38
And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] Vs. 39
All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Vs. 40
He knew that if we love God and love our neighbours as we love ourselves, we will be able to have compassion and do anything just to make sure that they are all fine, they are happy the same way we are happy.
Therefore, if you love the Lord as the first commandment, and you fulfill the law without grumbling, loving our neighbour as ourselves won't be a difficult thing to do. We will gladly do that with joy.
Love covers all sins. Because of love for Rachel, Jacob served a total of fourteen years for Rachel and they seemed like few days because of the genuine love he had for her. Only those who loves us genuinely can go extra-miles for us. Make plans to go extra-miles for that person God as laid in your heart for. Show little love for it goes a long way in saving a soul.
Even if you call yourself a believer or disciple of Christ and have no love, you are nothing.
**1 CORINTHIANS 13:1-2**
> Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. Vs. 1
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. Vs. 2
