my recollection is that I just made five thousand dollars... the price of steem is going UP..for every penny it gains in price I gain $120 value in my account.. Excuse me...I think I'll have a nervous breakdown...I worked for it...I earned it.. I'm going to enjoy it. $ 1.175253406712

I hope it goes to the moon! But, Prussia? Not remotely communist. IIRC, WWI was undertaken to crush competition, to wit, Prussia. Yes?

No...I don't know and I seriously doubt that you do either. You may think you do but unless you've read history from FIRST SOURCES then what you think you know is probably not the truth. Like I've said many times...history is a lie. But that was then..this is now. The world economy is totally different. The technolgy is a thousand or a million times more advanced. No need for war. The rich guys get richer selling stuff. Lookit jeff bezos...when he was 30 he borrowed a couple of hundred thousand from his parents...now he's the richest guy in the world.. from selling stuff...same thing with the waltons. Poor old Elon Musk...just a billionaire...same thing in prinicple..

'War is a Racket', by Gen. Smedley Butler, succinctly lays out exactly why war is such a profitable way to sell stuff, and get rich. If you haven't read it, I recommend it. It's short, and the math is easy. Butler wasn't a mathematician, he was a war hero, from WWI, and he lamented later in life that his specialty was in preventing captive labor markets from avoiding being conscripted to generate profits for corporations selling stuff, like bananas, and pineapples, in various tin pot dictatorships. War is critical to profiteers, as it allows them to multiply their ROI's by orders of magnitude. Butler lays this out quite clearly, from personal experience, in a book short enough to be called a pamplet. I think you'd like him.

Also this: >"Churchill had been appointed to the Admiralty in October 1911, and had continued the policy established by his predecessor of keeping Britain ahead of the Germans and strengthening the navy by expanding the number of Dreadnoughts, the most powerful battleship of the time." WWI wasn't so long ago that considerable records have been lost, and a cursory search will show many corroborating points with the above, taken from Historyinanhour.com
