Fungifriday - Under the snow

<center>It is the end of the year and the calendar winter has already started. I guess it's appropriate to post some snowy mushrooms. I shot those in Poland - we don't get snow around here in Portugal. The combination of snow and mushrooms also doesn't happen often. They usually die back before the first snow. But those here are tough! And as I looked at them they didn't seem to be much damaged too.</center>

<center>It was one the very first, fluffy snowfalls that winter. And I always, (no matter the age) feel like a kid when that happens. I have to go out and touch it, feel the cold and how gentle they are. They will immediately melt in the hands, but that's ok. 
Usually the first snow doesn't last long so I gotta be fast! This one disappeared the next day too. The proper winter usually comes a lot later and with much lower temperatures too. So the snow stays until spring (unless there is one of those freaky warm winters when it doesn't snow at all... crazy nature!).</center>
