Not only sand

<center>I do not go to the beach often. I prefer woods, hills and rivers. But when I do the last thing I want to be doing there is just laying down on a burning hot sand and do nothing... for hours. That is just boring! 
I go explore then. This is the time I pick up shells, stones look for dead sea creatures, wet the feet in a freezing ocean water. 
<br>
After all that I climb up. To the dunes where there is some vegetation already. Some small succulents, wild herbs, flowers and further up twisted pine trees. Among all those there are snail shells. All stuck to the top of dry flower stems as they were glued for a decoration purposes. Not the first time I see snails drying up on top of plants. And I still have no idea why they do that. 
A great object to photograph though, so I am not complaining.</center>
