Trying out the new INVITE tokens from Steem-Ninja. Works Great!

When you have enough Steempower (roughly ~4000) it's possible to claim account tokens.

With an account token, you can create an instant Steem Account.

I have been claiming my accounts like clockwork and have acquired around 2000 of them now.

The problem with them at the moment is that they are not tradable. But they are not valueless.

To create a Steem account it costs 3 STEEM. So I just see it as 6000 STEEM in another form.

But the guys from @steem-ninja have found a way for themselves!

They have tokenized their own account tokens! *(what a sentence!)*.

Here's how it works.

On Steem-Engine you can buy INVITE tokens now.

I bought 10 from the market and they show up in Keychain straight away.

I then went over to https://invite.steem.ninja and tried one out.

You pay them one INVITE token on the site with keychain and then you get a voucher link for a free account.

This is cool but (assuming I understand) we could do with the ability use our own account claim tokens in a similar way - create a link which will deduct a token from our own pile.  I'd be happy to offer mine for free, as long as i was in control of who I was sending the link to - this would destroy steem-ninja's business model though so I guess I'll be quiet now :)

It's not about selling your own account tokens to Steem-Ninja. It's them selling their own tokens to the market in the form an INV token.

I think this is pretty cool. They found a way for themselves to make those tokens tradable. 

Hopefully, in the future, some other genius will come round and make it possible for us to do the same.

I'm wondering if Steemify could build something into the app to on-board?  You are logged in as exyle, with the right permission a link/screen could be generated to allow you use a claimed account token to create a new account for someone/yourself?
