There's a lot of uncertainty in the air about August's UASF. Japanese stores are not going to accept BTC on the 1st of August. Good to see that some countries and exchanges are not fearing this.

Okay. So you mean because of SegwiT Implementation, we would have 2 Bitcoins in the future. Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash . That's interesting. If we talk abou Ethereum, then it split after the hardfork . I don't understand this. Probaly should read more about it . But one thing is clear that the uncertainity of Segwit hype has gone now. After 1 August, we can trade freely without any fear .

It's good to know that Pizza day was such a success. I'm glad that BTC won't split as that would probably affect the entire cryptocurrency market. I'm curious to see how well Bitcoin Cash with perform. I'll monitor how well that performs in the next couple months.

That's very encouraging to see an exchange feels that confident there will not be a fork and are going ahead with business as usual.  I've read where Bitcoin Cash is primarily backed by miners from China. Don't know if that is accurate  or not.  

I've said before that I see BTCs value in being as it was first to market and is the most widely accepted coin. As my knowledge has increased in this space, I've questioned many times the inherent value of BTC outside of the aforementioned circumstances. To this point in time all other coins simply act as derivatives of Bitcoin.   I've converted all my BTC into the altcoins I feel have the best real world applications, Dash, Steem and EOS.  I could be very wrong in doing this.  Time will tell.  Great post brother! Have a great day!!

While reading, I wondered if this made you decide not to take your bitcoin(s) off the exchange but you already answered that question.

Part of me was hoping for some people to tell me that that isn't necessary. but I guess I actually should. Most of my money sits in my coinbase wallet
