Out and About in the Heart of London This Afternoon
*The capital of UK. A place I never tire of. And where I'm spending most of my day. The missus and I are going to meet the lovely @susanlo at a quaint restaurant bar facing the river Thames. In fact it's just opposite the iconic **Tower of London**, where many people are flocking to as we speak. They erected a good sized ice rink on the open grounds next to the castle itself. Check out those beautiful iron meshed animal sculptures...*

It's not often I get to take a picture of **Tower Bridge** because I'm actually hardly ever in **Central London**, lol! The West side of my city is where I'm usuallt at so this was actually pretty refreshing. Though the muddy brown sludge below looks most unpleasant, lol. Imagine falling into that! I snapped this whilst making my way to the restaurant itself.

And, of course, the magnificent **The Shard** building. We were sitting pretty much opposite to the incredible structure looming in front of us all. It certainly is a stunning piece of architectural craftsmanship and we had a great ringside seat. Having a blast out here and enjoying some excellent company too.
