Each community has its own culture. Culture in an organization is the result of a legacy from the past that is renewed or adapted to the times. It is not easy to improve a culture that is not good to be better, especially if the community consists of several people with anti-change character.
So, to build a culture that is unique and beneficial to all members of the community, each member must be welcome to change. Don't consider change to be a threat, instead it should be an opportunity to both get progress and attract more rewards from a community.
In addition to the characteristics of the members, a conflict-ridden community cannot build a better culture. Every change will be responded to by an unproductive conflict that is detrimental to members. Counter-productive conflicts also consume energy, time and available resources. Members are busy with unproductive activities that spend a lot of time, do not have time to think about progress.
For a new community like Steemzzang Indonesia, building a unique culture is actually easier because everything is still pure. Various ideas from each member are still fresh, and so are the spirit. It's a problem, everyone struggles to grow. There is no intrigue and conflict that harms community acceleration.
However, challenges differ when assets belonging to the community start to multiply. Conflict starts to appear because everyone has an interest in fighting over assets, everyone feels entitled to get a part of those assets.
The unique culture has actually been growing in the Indonesian Steemzzang Community because previously the Indonesian Steemit community was formed. Members of the two communities are not much different. It's just that many members of Steemit are no longer active. There are some that are starting to reactivate with the new format in Steemit, but must adjust the rhythm back with a number of changes.
For mutual progress, we will continue to maintain some of our unique cultures and evaluate them. Cultures that support our progress are strengthened, while cultures that harm us are abandoned.
Providing mutual support for votes is one culture that must be maintained for mutual progress. The habit of sharing information also includes a unique culture.
A culture grows from the habits of its members. And the habits of members become an inseparable character. The community must be controlled so that bad habits do not develop into cultures that are difficult to eradicate.
