Mie Aceh is a typical spicy noodle dish from Aceh. The yellow and thick noodles are added with slices of beef, mutton, and seafood (shrimp and squid) served with a savory and spicy curry soup. Mie Aceh itself there are two types, namely Mie Aceh Goreng (dry and fried form) and Mie Aceh sauce (its shape like soup). Aceh noodles are fried with onion slices and served with chips, pieces of onion, cucumber, and lime. Mie aceh is a regional cuisine that has spread in Indonesia, many aceh food stalls selling aceh noodles and a favorite for the Indonesian community. If seen from its history, Aceh culinary can not be separated from the influence of local culture of Aceh community itself combined with foreign culture that finally formed the region of Aceh in the past. Moreover Aceh in ancient times is famous as the main door or port in the region of Sumatra and surrounding areas.The aceh noodle is very famous. However, no one knows exactly where the origin of the aceh noodle itself is. In Aceh history books, no one has found the beginning of aceh noodles. However, some say that Aceh aceh is a combination of Aceh, India, and China where noodles come from China, India as a strong curry spawner and Aceh with ingredients rich in spices so as to create aceh noodles.
