[19] Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
[20] Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Looking at the world today, among the leaders at different levels of government, all what we see is injustice and other vices. The executive, judiciary and legislative at the federal, state and local government levels who are entrusted with the responsibilities and authorities are not sensitive to the need of the people they govern. It is a pity that true justice and patriotism is not being upheld, appreciated and demonstrated by the different institutions and organisations including religious and secular establishments.
The scripture affirms that all people are sinners and that no one is righteous. Our entire life is adversely affected by sin and inclines toward conformity to the world and flesh. Human beings are used to moving from the way of godliness to the way of selfishness. It is confirmed that our ways, perspective and thinking are quite different from God’s. This is so because there is no fear of God.
We need to ensure that our thought and perception on every issue of life are influence by Jesus. The law was established to keep people from having excuses but still, we still find ourselves at one point or the other going against the law.
God has provided the way to be made right without keeping the requirements of the law. The only way to be made right is with God is through faith in Jesus Christ. This is true for everyone who believes.
The question now is, have you surrendered or are you ready to surrender your will to God to reform and transform you for His purpose and glory?
We should know that no other person brings justice like Jesus Christ.
The entire world will be held accountable to God through Jesus Christ.
We all need to be responsible in our different areas of jurisdiction.
I pray God will help us to reflect and proclaim the true justice that Jesus brings at every given opportunity in Jesus name.
