## Dear brothers and sisters in Christ
As believers we have often asked ourselves how close we are to God, this is a question that only our conscience gives the answer.
How can we know the answer. This is given to us by our self-evaluation and for this we must contrast our behavior according to the teachings of Jesus, who in his public teaching gave us many examples of what the life of a believer who is in the ways of God is.
Prayer and meditation on the word of God give us insight into shaping our faith and following in the footsteps of Jesus, with love for God above all things being fundamental and expressing love for others with works.

The apostle Paul in his preaching alerted the Corinthian community about the bad behavior on the part of the community alerting them about the behavior of some of them and their estrangement from the work of God.
Even Jesus, at the moment of his death, spoke about this moment, palpating the repentance of the good thief, whose sins were forgiven, unlike the bad side who at that moment rejected God's forgiveness and mercy.
Let's hope that we are like the good thief, let's repent and with a new heart we accept Jesus as our Savior and Redeemer since this will bring us closer to God.
**AMEN**
