#### Cebu is known as the Queen City Of The South. The main event is called "Sinulog" which held annually every 3rd Sunday of the month. In honour of the official patron saint of Cebu, [Snr Santo Nino](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santo_Ni%C3%B1o_de_Ceb%C3%BA).

#### In the Christian religion, the saint is believed to be miraculous by a lot of Filipino Catholics . They believe that when you pray or a devotee , you will be blessed. # What's New? Steemit Cebu Will Be Joining the Festival!

#### 2 days ago the [Steemph.cebu Core leaders](https://steemit.com/@steemph.cebu) organized a meeting. It has been approved by the Cebu Community Kabalikat Members where we can set up a booth in the event venue (to be announced). Along with us are the crowd controllers and Healthcare Providers for the upcoming event.
