Marvel Producer Talks about Controversy in Spider-Man: Homecoming

<p>There is one thing that makes some fans frown, the timeline of the movie which took place 8 years after The Avengers. &nbsp;The "eight years later" description at the beginning of Spider-Man's latest movie, made some fans think the movie The Avengers was in 2012, concluding that Spider-Man: Homecoming took place in 2020.</p>
<p>However, other fans disagreed, causing debate and controversy. Later, producer Marvel responded to the fans' confusion.</p>
<p>"All that debate has made us think, 'Well, at some point, I'm not sure exactly when, we'll publish the timeline and look at all these things.' It's not meant to confuse people, and I'm not sure I'll do it again in the same way, but it's all connected to where we put it, " Kevin Feige Said.</p>
<p>"In addition to very specific cases where there are newspapers, or verbal references for years, we never give dates on the films, I think there is an assumption, 'Well if the film comes out in November 2017, it should last in November 2017 '- which is not the case, "he continued.</p>
<p>Not only refers to Spider-Man: Homecoming and Marvel superhero movies while discussing the franchise's timeline that confuses fans. Kevin Feige also refers to the classic Star Wars movie franchise when he seems reluctant to discuss Marvel films further.</p>

<p>"The specifics of the timeline, see ... I love the Star Wars timeline, with the Battle of Yavin, all good after the Battle of Yavin, or Before the Battle of Yavin," he said. &nbsp;However, Kevin reiterated his plans to release the official timeline for Marvel movies. "We did that, and the turning point for us was when Tony said, 'I'm Iron Man,'"</p>
<p>"So it will be years after that, years before that - to the Big Bang, where it starts! It will look really cool and complex like Doc Brown (the character of the film doctor Back to the Future) writing on the board write at the time of publication, "</p>
<p>Previously, several television series Marvel mentioned that the incident in The Avengers movie took place in 2012.
