It’s funny how you still managed to squeeze in a nifty title for what could be a very dark spiral. There will be lots of fancy words mumbuled together with possibilities of a few typos here and there. After all, there’s nothinng but chaos down here. 

It wasn’t always this way. In fact, it was one of the brightest spots ever to exist. The skies were always clear with no clouds obstructing anything. It was always day time but there were always stars in the sky. It was something no fantasy could ever conjure. It was weird. It is weird. There has been nothing like it, and there won’t be any like it. 

Talking about this at this point is the most painful thing anyone can be subjected to. No one should have to go through this but remember the whole thing has been weird from the beginning? 

Solid walls don’t crumble yeah? Nah, it’s relative and depends on the intensity and strength of what the wall has to contend with. In fact, everything in this life is relative and this is probably the reason why there’s no damn manual. 

How do you know when to hold on and when to let go? Especially when it has to do with things that are beyond just you. When you find something you need, something you’ve been looking for your whole life, something that makes you really you, what determines how long and how hard you fight for it? Would it be selfish to ignore every other thing and focus on getting that one thing? Would that type of selfish be bad? 

Or would it be best to let go, not because you’ll be fine without it but because other people will be fine if you do?​ 

Why has the fear of the unknown got such a strong grip on us? Why would we rather go with the flow than swim against the tide? Why does it have to be war-like to break out of the norm and embrace new things?

*Okay, this is it…*

He was a flame, a tiny little flame lighting up a little corner. He always knew he could be more than that tiny flame. The potential to be bigger had always been there but it needed a certain type of substance. Many different substances came across his way but they were no good so he shielded himself as much as possible from them. On their own, these substances could have been awesome but they just weren’t what he needed to become more than a tiny flame. 

One day, out of nowhere, something weird and strange happens. This flame starts to feel uneasy as he gravitates towards something; an unknown substance. From the get go, everything was against this strange new feeling and as usual, the next step was to put up the wall of defense but nothing seemed to work. The walls crumbled. The shields faded away like steam from boiling water. The flame kept gravitating towards this new substance, against all (in hindsight, some) odds. It was like a greater force was now in charge of proceedings and the flame felt powerless. 

The moment the two came in contact, there was a bright and colorful spark. The entire surroundings was lit and life suddenly had meaning again. There was no more “little flame” and in his place there was a blazing ball of fire. A tiny contact with this new substance under these strange circumstances finally gave the tiny flame a glimpse of what he was indeed capable of becoming. They both didn’t understand what was going on and why any of this was happening but the more they stayed together, the more amazing and beautiful things happened. 

Blazing ball of fire from just a tiny contact with this substance… it must have been the best of times for “tiny flame” until it wasn’t anymore. The substance belonged to someone else. How could something that is so perfect for you belong to someone else? Tiny Flame begins his quest to not lose this new substance he calls “fuel”. How is he supposed to blaze again without fuel? Yes,​ he has been surviving before he came in contact with fuel but there’s so little a matchstick can do before it burns out and flame is no more. 

Flame is at his best when he’s blazing. Flame cannot blaze without Fuel. Flame needs Fuel for him to be at his best. Flame could survive without Fuel but Flame wouldn’t have achieved his potential that way. Flame understands how important Fuel is to his life and would never take Fuel for granted. With Fuel, Flame becomes *contagious*, spreading like wildfire​!

It’s true there are thousands of other substances but… water won’t make flame blaze. Air won’t make flame blaze. Coke won’t, Sand won’t. Nothing else would!
