In today's post I am asking for your help. 

EDIT: I just woke up to see many miracles and I am overwhelmed by your help and support. I did not want to look until I posted my daily dtube video. This is a hard task for me, but I do it every morning now. I knew I knew I would at least have a lot of comments to reply to. But instead, I have a steemit miracle and I am so grateful to all of you. 

I will reply to your MANY supportive comments and post as soon as I can - I'm working on this thank you post now. Thank you everyone. I am so relieved and I promise to never stop trying on steemit (and all the places) and help other small fish do the same.

I know everyone has their own life and problems and need to care about them – but a lot of people will give help when asked. You cannot help me if you do not even know I have this problem. So I am asking for your help.

### I Must Raise $120 USD in Two Days. 

I have to pay my rent and I do not have the money for it now. That amount comes out to 500 MYR in Malaysia where I live now, and 500 STEEM in this place where I also live. I'm showing you the Crypto Calculator in the @teammalaysia discord group. You have one of these too, right?

My rent is due on the Dec 15, and I do not have it. I’m alone in Malaysia without many resources except what I have here on Steemit. Like @ned, I have cut my expenses as far as I can, but I still need more income to carry on. 

I can tell you the long story of why my situation is so bad, but instead I want to tell why I feel hope for the future. I have:


- Good friends on steemit and dtube 
- Good friends in Malaysia
- Good attention to my work 
- A good place to live 
- Access to healthy food

And a lot is going very well for me on steemit now. 

#### Dtube Success

Today I finally showed my face in a @dtube video like everyone has been asking, begging, and telling me to do. 

So I showed my face, and look what happened! My first @dtube upvote came in! You can see it in the long bar to the right in steemsupply by @dragosroua.

I have been posting one video a day to dtube as best I can. I have been trying for months and had so many technical issues. Finally I think I have a workflow I can actually complete each day.

I continued through the pain of this dtube ordeal thanks to the pushing of many people, especially @nathanmars. Recently he added me to the dtubefamily777 and delegated sp to me. I am doing everything I can to support Nathan’s efforts because I really believe in what he is doing, and I will continue with even more resolve now.

And you want to see my ugly, old, lop-sided, wrinkled face? I am on it! Stay tuned for my video tomorrow. I cannot believe I am doing this, but I am. If it my face you will upvote, I will film it.

#### Curation League Success

I have been in the [Curation League](https://steemit.com/engagement/@abh12345/2vz9mg-the-curation-and-engagement-leagues-steem-prizes-and-steem-bounty-available) of @abh12345 for for over a year. I have learned so much from my participation ther. 

I recently started pushing hard to succeed and improve. This week I came close to the top 10 in results, and this is because I comment and engage here all day long. This part of the league is for "engagement" not monetary results. I'm way down this list in that regard lol.

This is a hard place to succeed, but I know we can all do it if we try. I gathered up all the information I learned by failing and posting it for other people so they might not struggle like I did. 

This reason I wrote the post at all was because @fabian98 [asked for help](https://steemit.com/dtubesnap/@fabian98/n94gxsg3) in figuring out how to post each day in his dtubesnapq video. here is his reply on my post.

#### Twitter
I have a steeming twitlist here.

This twitlist has over 400 steemers on it. I have been keeping it and adding to it since I got here in June 2017. I retweet from this list everyday. 

My 5000 twitter connections include over 700 people who are in crypto but not on steemit, so they see our posts in their feeds. I try everything I can to increase our steemit Twitter engagement and I am slowly making progress (Come on guys, please retweet your steemit friend’s posts!)

Here is a very active steemer and tweeter who I just added to my list a couple of days ago. I found @sudutpandang because he tweets his creative and well done steemit posts, and someone else on the list rt'd him. So I came over here, connected, and now I retweet him too.

NOTE: If you have a twitter account without many followers, I don't care. Get on my list and tweet your good steemit posts anyway. I will retweet you to 5000 real people when I see them. 

I have worked hard on Twitter and I have a good list. Many of my connections retweet steemit posts I send out, BECAUSE THEY LOOK GOOD ON TWITTER, so this throws even a wider net.

#### What I do on steemit
I normally post 2-4 posts each day, and comment 30-50 times including replying back. 

I am a weight loss coach and try to help others lose weight naturally like I did almost eight years ago. A lot of my posts are about that. I was not involved with crypto at all until I got to steemit.  

I post with busy, esteem, ulogs, partiko, and now I post dtube videos (with my face in them). I freewrite and post to steemiteducation with my weight loss information. I post a lot of minnow tips; trying to help new people succeed here.  

I am in SE Asia so I post travel and photo posts. I enter a lot of contests and challenges. 

I feel like I add value to this platform and I am  proud of my work here.

#### How Can You Help Me?

##### Transfer STEEM
Thanks to the Bank of @teammalaysia on Discord, I can transfer STEEM to MYR and get it where it needs to go without fees. Before I was invited to this wonderful group, I was paying about 15% of all steemit money to fees and exchange rates. I cannot get over this wonderful help I am getting now. I think you will agree that 15% is a big loss no matter what the STEEM price.

I am without regular banking in Malaysia and previously had to use my Thailand Bank to get money over here. The International ATM fee alone is large. My Canadian passport and Tourist Visas limit my access to banking with out fees in the places I have accounts. 


##### Upvotes 

If you are unable to help by transfer, like my work, and have upvotes to give, you can upvote any of my **older** posts. Yes, I know I am not supposed to ask for upvotes, but I hope you will excuse this request due to the circumstances. Perhaps like me, your autovoter is running slow these days since fewer people are posting now, so you might have upvotes to give.

If my posts payout in the next two days, I will be able to get the funds in time. 

I also post on @bxlphabet - my son's blog. He has severe ptsd and other problems and is unable to be here now. I am keeping his blog active too with 1-2 posts a day. 

My son's work shows his artwork which is mostly sketchs. His posts also cover food, exercise, travel, and are San Diego California related. He was very interested in steemmonsters and I hope he will come back for that one day soon. @bxlphabet's older post payouts will also help me.

##### Other Crypto Wallets
I have 22 wallets with all variety of crypto coins and will provide that information to anyone who asks me. This money would have to come less the 15% fees by the time I get it.

#### $120 USD for rent???
You might be wondering how this possibly could be the amount I pay each month for rent, especially if you live over there in the more expesive west. 

Yes, it’s true. I live in a condo complex about 30 minutes LRT ride from the city center of Kuala Lumpur, and I love it here. I rent one room in a "villa" (meaning no elevator) sharing the kitchen and bathroom with quite a few nice Malaysian people who cannot believe I am here, but are very nice to me. 

This is not a part of town tourists would normally come - just like where I lived in Bangkok for the prior two years. I mostly eat street food and cook market food for myself and just sit here working like I would do anywhere else in the world. 

This is why I am in SE Asia in the first place. I came for the lower cost of living and the healthier lifestyle. The amount I am asking for actually includes:

83 Rent – in USD
25 Food – Long term supplies, like coconut oil and laundry soap I ran out of
12 WIFI – I am using my planned time too quickly and need to top off this month. 

I figured I would go for broke if I was even going to ask for your help at all. As I said, I have been cutting my expenses to the bone, and all my bulk supplies are pretty much gone now. 

The wifi is a limited time per month plan and I have been blowing it out. If it runs out, I will not be able to post at all for a few days and I need to buy more gigs of time to avert that disaster. 

I will have a post coming about this struggle and how I am going to beat it soon. A lot of my wifi usage was due to my problems with dtube. I feel like I might be over that problem for the future.

When my number needed came to 500 STEEM/MYR, I figured this was a good sign. But in truth, if I can get to the rent amount of 330 STEEM/MRY, I will be able to pay the rent and that will be enough.

You can check my wallet to see what I have so far. At this writing, the amount is 73 STEEM, so I already have 20% of the rent amount. 


##### What else?
I will be so grateful for ANY other ideas, comments, or help you can think of that I am not mentioning here.

It's hard to ask for help, but I do not know another alternative. Many thanks for reading this post and any help or ideas you can offer.
