So yesterday I may this [post](https://steemit.com/ethereum/@fiveboringgames/good-buy-opportunity-in-eth-right-now) about how I feel ETH will rise due to the large amount of shorts and the high cost to opening future shorts.

I woke up today and seen that 300K shorts had disappeared, I was expecting this as I thought there was 200K - 300K in dao arbitrage still unaccounted for on bitfinex,  I believed it was possible that this arbitage was being kept open to set up a possible short squeeze.  So when I seen 300K gone from the books I figured the squeeze was called off, maybe due to ETC's rise.  I then closed all my longs that I had bought at $11.8-$12.5 at a 1% loss, I was fairly happy due to wanting to be in ETH without that lending cost pressure pushing up ETH.  I went back to bed for 2 hours and sleep great.

I now wake up to find that it was all a typo on bitfinex's site and as I suspected might happen ETH is skyrocketing.  I wasn't joking about feeling physically sick, what hurts the most is I was right and I am getting nothing out of it.

Sorry for the rant, I am going out the back garden for a good scream.
