#  <center>Maltese tiger, reality or fiction?</center>

Today I will continue the list of the most amazing and beautiful felines on the planet, I plan to continue until this week and part of the other one discovering these mammals that impress by their beauty and by their behavior, unfortunately most of the felines presented are in danger of extinction due to their hunting, almost always by their fur, practice that has been done since the last century especially by the English empire that opened a fur market for the manufacture of coats, formerly also hunted but not as much as last century. Today it is the turn of the Maltese tiger. Come with me to learn more about this incredible species.

The Maltese tiger also known as the blue tiger, is actually a myth, because the documentation of the tiger is scarce and there are no signs of existence except the statements of Chinese peasants who claim to have seen it, therefore, we will just know the possible causes of its mutation and if indeed it is possible that there is a tiger of these characteristics.

The little that is documented of its characteristics is that it possesses a bluish fur with the typical stripes but of a dark gray. All sightings of the particular species have been in southern China. Perhaps we will never know for sure if it exists or existed, the most likely is that it is a fantastic myth of tigers after all this animal has been the object of devotion in Asian culture as well as to generate stories, fables and legends, even in the martial arts is present, the strength and power of this feline has become philosophy and everything that can be converted. What is likely is that the population of this particular tiger is very small due to this strange mutation and is not a species as such if not a mutation of the species of large Asian tigers, indicating that its population is very small and perhaps more dispersed than we imagine, also if we take into account the size of China which is one of the largest countries in the world we will realize that it is very likely that if there are tigers with these characteristics only that the human has not come to see it.
