When i visited Rome in October some years ago i also visited the Vatican and St. Peters Cathedral. It is one of the biggest churches in the world an quite impressive. The Ceiling is very beautiful with a lot of gold and beautiful mural paintings. Unfortunately you are not allowed to use a tripod for photography in the cathedral. So i had to bump up the ISO to get a short enough exposure time to get some nice images of the ceiling and the inside of the church.
