One of my first trips with my 150-600mm lens was to the zoo in Schmiding, where i took several pictures of different animals, but the colorful parrots where my favorite motif. I love the intense color the feathers of the parrots can have and they always look very beautiful for a picture. I think this day i nearly did 500 different pictures of the parrots there. Because it was my first try with the new 150-600 mm lens i had to  try different settings and angles of photography. Because the lens is also much heavier than my old 55-300 Nikor lens i also had to get used to the weight.

On the next picture i had a wonderful light and you can see the parrot isolated from the background. I love the beautiful bokeh this lens creates when zooming in at an object. You really get very smooth colors or mixtures of the background with this lens on maximal focal lengh. On most pictures i hat to bump up the ISO to get a brighter picture and shorter exposure time because otherwise the images woul have ended up blurry on my Nikon D5100 because of the missing light and the long focal lengh.
