# <center>Introduction</center>

Its time to make a report for my work as a cryptoacademy Promoter. It has not been so easy to recruit and mentor newbies to qualify and join the academy. But we keep on trying with the resources available to us. Here is a record of my activities for the week that ended today.

# <center>My Strategy for the week that ended</center>

* **Hurray!!! My first student to enter the academy is @feyol55:** I recruited @feyol55 about 24 days ago and following mentorship and guide, He has been able to complete achievement 4. So he has fulfilled that aspect of the qualification. The other challenge was his reputation. So from day 1, I encouraged him to make diary posts in my community - SteemAlive. Fortunately, @steem-alive has the most followed curation trail and I use the account to support my community members. It currently votes $3.5 - $4.5 at 100% voting weight. So in order to support @feyol55 to get to reputation 50, I used the community account to support 4 of his posts. I also submitted one of his posts to booming for support. See screenshots below:

So with the supports above, he was able to quickly get to the minimum requirement of 50 reputation. 

The final challenge which is 150 SP is the hardest. He is currently teaching and has a very low wage. I encouraged him to buy Steem and power up, but he is not able to do that now due to financial limitations. But from his wallet, he has earned 9 Steem and 5.1 SBD. When swapped, the SBD will give around 60 Steem. With the 9 Steem, he will have a total of 69 steem. So this evening as promised, I sent him 84 Steem as loan my my account so that he can start the introductory courses this week. So in this way, I am able to produce my first academy student. Once he starts earning, he will return the loan so that I can use it to assist others too. In the morning, I will show him how to swap the SBD for Steem using the internal market. * **The Steem Road Show:** The Steem Road show has been an effective avenue to create awareness for Steem. So each week, I attended at least twice, together with my team in the city of Aba. This week, I attended the road twice. It helps me to create awareness too for the academy by speaking to people in person about the opportunity to join the academy.  Below are the roadshow day 8 and 9 posts which I did with steem promoters from my community steemalive.

* **Online activity:** I did another ad on Nairaland. But unfortunately, the ad was removed due to a supposed voilation of rules. I discovered it late, so only two persons came from the ad before it was removed. I have discusssed with the mod and understood what went wrong. It will be corrected this week.

**Note:** There was 2 days stay-at-home order from a separatist group in my city. The unrest affected my activity and we could not hold our physical mentorship classes. Am sure the other introduction posts would be ready from tomorrow

# <center>My target and Strategy this week</center>

I will still do more to combine all the methods I use in creating awareness and recruiting new people into the academy. I was appointed a greeter in Newcomers community. So this has helped the swift verification of both my recruits and the other promoters. This week, in addition to online ad and the Roadshow, I have planned a radio presentation in the most popular radio house in my city. The cost of a 20 minutes presentation is about 90 steem. I will include the results of this presentation in my report for next week.
