<b>South Korea Officials Accused of Insider trading</b>

Some government officials who were aware of the coming announcements were found buying and selling cryptocurrency just before the information went public.
FSS chief Choi Hyung-sik confirmed: 

“We have confirmed the intelligence. We have confirmed that some public officials have done such an act”

Another went on to say

“There is no code of ethics and no code of conduct for virtual currency investment in FSS regulations, so it’s difficult to say about punishment at this stage.”

The public petition of 200,000+ signatures includes some firing of high-profile ministers.
Chosun concludes he cannot be docked for insider trading, but only more generally for "the misuse of internal information"

Will the crypto game be subject to laws being proposed merely for officials to make a whipping on the market? I hope our communities don't get ridden by the powerful to states of even more power.

<b>Legal & tax free crypto country!</b>

Belarus president Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree legalizing ICO's, smart contracts, AND tax free cryptocurrencies in March. It is limited to people a part of HTP or "High technology park" which is similar to the Silicon Valley in California.

"Activity such as mining, acquisition, alienation of tokens, carried out by individuals, are not entrepreneurial activities, and tokens are not subject to declaration. At the same time, until 2023, activities related to mining, the creation, acquisition and alienation of tokens are not taxed."

"The decree does not specify the nature of the certain civil right, and therefore the concept of ‘token’ is provided with a high degree of flexibility."

I  wonder if they are trying to incentivize intelligent crypto enthesiasts to their country. It will be very interesting to see how this legislation puts Belarus on the crypto map.

<b>One of the largest Chip makers making bigger bets on crypto mining</b>
With the low sales for iphone X chip maker TSMC is up 10% in revenue since crypto mining came in demand, and now they are left with one question after this profit. Will the demand be sustainable? If so, they are planning on going deeper down the crypto rabbit hole. Saying that "if mining demand vanishes tomorrow, it shouldn't affect the investment outlook. But if it turns out to be strong, the company will rake it in."

Seems like they are going to play it safe for now, but if one of these giants switch fuly to crypto sphere, we could be in for a hell of a ride for our tech! Hopefully more cryptos switch to PoS or more energy effective models. Because, I do not believe traditional mining blockchain will survive regulation to 2020. It's too ineffective, and cosly on a governmment level.

<b> CryptoRuble makes its return?</b>

The government has been going back and forth about the final decision since 2015. Recently the deputy minister of finance said they "did not think it was necessary for the state to issue its own cryptocurrency" only now to come back and say that it would attract foreign investments, stimulate the economy, and protect from foreign sanctions. The head of RACIB said the project details will be officially presented in July 2018, the same month that the central bank of Russia will present regulatory measures for ICOs, and cryptocurrency mining operations.

<b> First EOS airdrop coming soon!</b>

Details are hazy, but the first airdrop for the EOS blockchain has been announced, as an online encyclopedia, Everipedia. Already up and running, with their twitter doing the most, tweeting out to news icns and hoping to gain some traction, I have some hopes for this project. Even though they will be fighing some more long standing encyclopedia platforms on the blockchain network, their position on the EOS network is securing them a good chance at success! Especially with that FIRST mover advantage. That's some good PR. 

I feel crypto encyclopedias will revolutionize crowdsourced data, and is one of the best uses for blockchain in my opinion. I can't wait to see how this all unfolds and am glad to see such a great idea being the first mover on the EOS platform!
