Libélula, una hermosa sorpresa entre las ramas

<p>Hace algunos días, salí a fotografiar unas flores que están al  frente de mi casa y me encontré con una grata sorpresa, entre las ramas  de la planta estaba una linda libélula y por supuesto no desaproveche la  oportunidad de fotografiarla. Les debo confesar que soy fanática de  estos hermosos insectos, recuerdo que de niña las llamaba Chica Poza, al  menos ese era el nombre con que se le conocía en Carúpano, lugar donde  nací y me crie. </p>

<p>En mi querido Carúpano, se tiene la creencia que cuando estos  insectos entran en las casas, traen con ellos la buena suerte. Yo por mi  parte, tengo lindo recuerdo de ellos, de niña siempre me encantaba  verlos volar sobre una pequeña laguna que se encontraba en el terreno de  mis abuelos maternos. Sus traslucidas alas, que parecían hechas de un  delicado papel celofán, al reflejarse sobre ellas los rayos solares,  generaban un efecto tornasolado que para mí era casi mágico.</p>

<p>Y esa fascinante costumbre de precipitarse hacia el agua de la  laguna, como en una especie de clavado, y cuando estaban a punto de  zambullirse, en cuestión de segundos cambiaba el sentido de su vuelo,  pareciendo solo besar delicadamente la superficie del agua, para luego  levantar el vuelo nuevamente, ese comportamiento para mí era y seguirá  siendo simplemente asombroso. Bueno queridos lectores, por ahora me  despido y espero, que no solo les gustaran las fotografías, sino que  además, disfrutaran, este breve recuerdo que hoy compartí con ustedes. </p>

Siempre me han fascinado las libélulas y me encanta ver volar. Debido a que nuestro clima es muy seco en los meses de verano, construí un pequeño estanque (en realidad una pequeña piscina) de agua con plantas acuáticas y una cascada. Inicialmente hice esto para los pájaros, pero luego aparecen cada año moscas dragón de todos los colores y tamaños. Una vista maravillosa.

Good morning.  Thank you for sharing the wonderful photographs of the dragonfly, as well as your story!
  
I have always been facinated with dragonflies and love to watch fly.  Because our climate is so dry in the summer months I built a small pond (actually a small pool) of water with water plants and a waterfall.  I initially did this for the birds, but then dragon flies of all colors and sizes show up every year.  A wonderful sight.
