The law of fives is a fictitious creation that states: every number is directly or indirectly related to the number five, and here's the important part, depending on the ingenuity of the observer. Which means that the individual subconsciously creates the perceptions they are looking for, and only to the extent of their intellect, which for most is not nearly as complex as the actual reality confronting them. 

There are psychopaths in this world, but only a few of us have the ability to ferret them out, and stymie their negative effects. The rest are at the mercy of the malignant psychopaths, and scant mercy it is. The reprieve comes in the form of psychopaths not being in possession of the creative intelligence to adapt to the human condition, which they cannot completely understand, not being strictly human. Having kept cats my entire life, I have come to understand the strengths and limitations of the predator, their desires and their blind spots. I would pity psychopaths if they were not such a danger to the rest of us. 

They do have abilities that are useful to humanity. Some excellent surgeons are clinical psychopaths. Their ability lies in the capacity to be separate from the human condition, to be able to slice up a human, and put it back together without emotional engagement, where non-psychopaths may become emotionally overwhelmed, and make mistakes. 

Even earnest psychopaths can now use rational-emotive therapy, or even transcranial magnetic stimulation to become a benefit to other humans. This is not to say they, or anyone, should be controlled by authoritarian means, but only that wise psychopaths can choose to learn control over their faculties and wise non-psychopaths can choose to defend themselves against the encroachment by the limitations of the psychopathic mindset. 

Not all psychopaths are malignant. Some are willing to contribute if they are shown how it will benefit them. The logic of most psychopaths is entirely comprehensible, and predictable, contrary to the indoctrination of popular media about them being incomprehensibly 'crazy'.

Most of the rest of us have the ability to be creative, and as a result, have the ability to subvert the plans of any of these morally lacking individuals. Psychopaths are entirely predictable, if we can separate ourselves from the emotions of victimhood. They can be easily maneuvered into being useful to human survival. I do not aspire to manipulation of any kind, except as a tool for survival and self defense.

Sociopaths are the more dangerous type, as they are less predictable until the source of the trauma that created them is understood. The upside of sociopaths is that they can be prevented from even becoming such, if the cycle of violence is able to be disrupted.
