#### August Crypto Trading Volumes Saw The Biggest Month-Over-Month Increase Since 2018
> Crypto trading volumes for August saw the biggest month-over-month rise — some 75% — since February 2018. August’s volume clocked in at $191.2 billion compared to $109.3 billion in July, according to the August 2020 report by The Block Research. August’s spot exchange volume was the third-highest monthly volume since 2017. Binance had the largest market share, amounting to roughly 65% of the total traded volume in August, followed by Coinbase (11.2%), Kraken (4.8%), and LMAX Digital (4.8%), among others. #### Luxury Carmaker Renault Tests Its Blockchain Platform
> Luxury carmaker Groupe Renault tested its blockchain project aimed to ease compliance certification of vehicle components. The project, Extended Compliance End-to-End Distributed, or better known as XCEED, grew out of Renault’s partnership with other companies to develop a blockchain supply-chain solution by sharing data. It’s built on the Hyperledger Fabric network and deployed in collaboration with IBM. XCEED tracks and certifies regulatory compliance of vehicle components. #### Crypto Exchange Gemini Is Listing Three New Coins
> DeFi is hot right now, there’s no doubt about it. Crypto exchange Gemini has announced it’s expanding its lineup to include a trio of additional tokens, a move that will bring it deeper into the DeFi space. Gemini will begin accepting deposits in PAX Gold (PAXG), Amp (AMP) and Compound (COMP) with trading to start Sept. 15. Gemini will offer US dollar trading pairs for PAXG, AMP, and COMP via its ActiveTrader platform and API connections. #### Binance Transfers 3.55 Million BNB Whereas Price Rises Over 16%
> According to the data of Whale Alert, the crypto trading giant Binance has made five mammoth-sized transactions which carried a total of 3,550,000 million BNB to an address with an unregistered owner. Three transactions carried 1 million BNB each, one was worth 350,000 BNB and the fifth one carried 200,000 BNB. CoinMarketCap site has provided a chart, showing that Binance Coin has seen a major rise of slightly over 16% over the past 24 hours. BNB price is now $27.55, at the time of writing.
