For a few months now the red dwarf, which was given the name Trappist-1 has been the study center due to the possibility of being able to find life on the planets that are in the habitable zone of its orbit.


<h6> **Note: A habitable zone is the necessary distance that a planet must have so that it can generate liquid water on its surface so that the atmospheric conditions are the most similar to that of the planet earth.**</h6>

Although it is speculated that some of the planets in the habitable zone have oceans of liquid water, the magnetic storms generated by Trappist-1, have a degree of power much more than the Sun, besides that this can occur regularly, so that it is almost impossible to create an optimal atmosphere for life.


On the other hand, it is estimated that these magnetic storms are stronger than those that have passed through the planet earth, therefore a magnetic storm of the caliber that could generate Trappist-1 would be able to destroy the atmosphere of the nearest planets.



Also according to the words of **Julián Alvarado Gómez**, who is one of the scientists in charge of the study of Trappist-1:

<i> **"Trappist-1 is a star with a slightly larger size than it is Jupiter, in addition the stars similar to Trappist-1, the temperature that generate in its surface is an approximate of 2300 and 3800 Celsius, much lower than the temperature of the sun, which is capable of generating about 6000 degrees Celsius, therefore being a colder star compared to the sun, for trappist-1 can generate liquid water on the surface of the planets that are around it, these planets should be at a shorter distance from the star itself."** </i>

<i> Although it is sad news and that there was a possibility finally to be able to once and for all give evidence of life outside the planet earth, this helps us in some way to understand how our universe in general works. </i>
