 Hello Busy People Yesterday I consumed a lot of food… topped off with a Big Mac meal at midnight. Feeling full still. So fasting for one day should be a relatively unchallenging task. Right? I have fasted a few times before, but not by choice. These were days at harvest which I was too disorganized to have food in the field, and to busy to go to town and get some. Sometimes when you are focussed on work, time flies by and you forget to eat. No big deal. Anyways, my challenges today are (first) proximity to abundance. Abundance be everywhere. The fridge is like right over there! And my JeeJah is right here… I can call for Pizza at any moment and SLAM!... my 'fast' be over. :( Second challenge: my habit of eating whatever I want, whenever I want, built up over decades. Especially a Tim Horton's coffee with triple cream… I always start the day off with that. But not today. _grumble_ I only have two things in my corner here. First, the fact that my digestive system is still quite full. Secondly, peer pressure. Honestly if I did not share this post on Busy to collect some external motivation, I would not have a snowball’s chance in Hell. So please let me know if you have fasted with success before.
