One Yeti's Perspective #312: No, The Fire Is For Later

"No, the fire is for later" is something you might often hear me say. As a homesteader, and now roadsteader, being warm is important. Especially when we only have a wood stove to heat. I seem to be always building and maintaining a fire. Even when the day time temperature gets up in the 50's and 60's. The fire is for later, and you don't want to build it when you are cold.

That is a metaphor for many aspects of life. Parenting, marriage, business. The idea is that it is easier to do the work now and keep the "fire" going, than to try to get something started when everything is cold. The effort that it takes when everything is cold could lead to frustration and the thought of quitting. Don't quit, be prepared, do the work.

Be well. Be encouraged. Be radical.
