Life happens.  Everyday, life happens. Sometimes the days start passing us by, and we find ourselves stuck. Stuck in unhealthy habits or styles. Once we realize we are stuck, what do we do. 

A few months before we left crazy Michigan, I felt like I didn't have control of my situation. So I gradually started gauging my earrings up to 00g. It made me feel like I could at least control something.

This happens all the time though. Sometimes I feel trapped in a style, or even my beard style. So I change it or shave it off. That is sort of what happened yesterday with Stacie D.

For a little while now she has been feeling trapped in her dread locks. She was convinced she was going to shave her head bald and start over. After we talked a bit, she ended up just cutting them.

I know she loves them, so I reasoned with her a bit. I said, how about lets do something that will atleast make you like them again. Boom, thats what happened. We cut over a foot off!!

When it comes to making life changes, I always encourage making radical moves. Whatever you do...do it big enough to be different!
