# Zusammenfassung
>
Über die Besteigung des Gamskofels (2526 m) in den Karnischen Alpen findet sich bislang KEIN Artikel im Internet. Laut Aussagen der Einheimischen wird er äußerst selten als Tourenziel ausgewählt. Meine Informationsquellen zu den möglichen Routen sind der Alpenvereinsführer "Karnische Alpen, 1988" von Peter Holl sowie einige Wanderkarten. Mein "Lokalaugenschein", wie Österreicher sagen würden, fand am 22.07.2017 statt und ergab eine äußerst lohnende, aber auch sehr lange und anspruchsvolle Bergtour im zweiten Schwierigkeitsgrad mit nicht immer unproblematischer Wegführung. Der Gamskofel wurde hierbei von Süd nach Nord überschritten.

* Böses Gangele, ca. 2200 m (13:00)
* Nordwestrinne zum Gamskofel, 2526 m (15:00)
* Nordflanke im Abstieg ("Normalweg"??)
* Raimundatörl, 2070 m (17:30)
* Raimunda Jagdhütte, 1759 m (18:15)
* Sittmoser Tal nach Sittmoos, 891 m (20:00)

# Anforderungen
>
* Sehr gute Kondition
* Absolute Trittsicherheit und Schwindelfreiheit
* Sehr gutes Orientierungsvermögen
* Sicheres Beherrschen des zweiten Grades im Alpinklettern
* Gute Wetterkenntnisse
* 1300 Höhenmeter im Aufstieg (ohne Zwischenabstiege)
* 1600 Höhenmeter im Abstieg (ohne Zwischenaufstiege)

# Mit dabei: Lisa, die Gleitschirmpilotin (diesmal ausnahmsweise ohne Schirm)

Das Wetter ist zunächst schlecht. Wir trinken auf der unteren Valentinalm einen Kaffee, um das Ende des Regens abzuwarten. Einige Wandergruppen haben ihre Tour abgebrochen und erreichen naß und frustriert die Alm. Unser Wettergefühl verspricht entgegen der herrschenden Meinung Besserung ab Mittag.
Der Aufstieg zum Wodner Törl ist sehr steil und anstrengend, der Rucksack schwer, die Luft dampfig.

Oberhalb vom Törl werden Wetter und Stimmung spürbar besser.

Wir haben das "böse Gangele" verlassen und steigen durch diese Rinne in Richtung Südwestgrat an. Die Wahl des Weges erweist sich als optimal.

Dort unten soll der leichtere "Normalweg" hinunterführen, wenn man ihn denn findet.

Das gelang uns nicht, so dass wir ungeplant einen schwereren Abstieg nahmen mussten.

Endlich erreichen wir leichteres Gelände oberhalb vom Raimundatörl.

Schließlich führt uns ein Jagdsteig hinaus durch das einsame und malerische Raimundatal bis nach Sittmoos.

Dort treffen wir auf eine lustige Runde und werden gleich auf einen Schluck Bier eingeladen. Selten hat Bier so gut geschmeckt.

Das letzte "Problem" des Tages ist der Rückweg zum Auto, was in 20 km Entfernung an der unteren Valentinalm parkt.
Mit Hilfe einer sehr freundlichen Sittmooserin gelingt uns auch das. Bei bester Stimmung gibt es dort auch noch ein kleines Bier zur Belohnung und zum Ausklang eines perfekten Tages.

Das ist definitiv etwas das ich in meinem Leben machen möchte...Unglaubliche Bilder. Ich kann mir nur vorstellen was das für ein Moment sein muss, den Gipfel eines Berges zu erreichen und von oben ins Taal zu schauen.
