###### Week 41 was a tough week in a few respects.  First, Steem broke down again into the low 20's (and sadly cents, not dollars); and second, I was late for the first time in the friends of gondor post.  The first, I don't know what to say other than Steem (like everything) will find its bottom; and when it does we will all look back on it and say "I wish I would've bought more".  And the second, my late post, was due to the snowstorm we had that dropped a tree across the only road to my house and took some power poles and power lines with it.  It was a very cold night as it took them 2 full days to fix it.  Needless to say, the storm didn't have an impact on the votes (just my reporting it) so everyone still got their upvotes this week.  We are at 16K SP and holding firm, and with the post payout we might be able to even add a bit to that total!

###### On our post payouts we returned back to a good vote again (thanks to @fulltimegeek and a few others too), as we had another great week of participation!  We should be deploying at least another 10 steem to the leasing market this week to go with the few steem that we had also from donations (see below).   On our vote values, they were flat even with the drop in steem, but at this point I think Steem's getting pretty close to the bottom so I'm encouraged going forward!  We are casting a vote value of $0.13 per post per steward (+$0.01).  

###### We had 5 donations for this week (from 4 donors), and all are repeat donors.  The first two are from SOG members @cranium 1.0 Steem and @davedickeyyall 2.0 Steem; and the other two are from non-SOG members @preparedwombat 1.0 Steem and two donations from @bashadow of 1.0 Steem and 1 sbd.  Its awesome to see you all be so consistent and to show up so many times.  I have a hard time saying something different each week, as "thank you" doesn't always seem like the best words.  But in reality, thank you is exactly the right words and you all should know how appreciative everyone in this program is for the donations you make!  So thank you very much, it is certainly appreciated!

# This Weeks Payment On Posts Today (~$12 Steem)

###### This weekend we received the 41st weekly payout since the launch of this program.  The payout will be $12 steem, and it, along with any donations will be used to initiate new leases if the rates stay so favorable. The goal will be to add more new 13 week leases to replace the expiring 13 week leases each week that come due!

###### We have successfully built up and stabilized our account, and now we should provide a steady and growing upvote if we continue to get your support.   The goal is to give the SOG members a real benefit and with your continued efforts to support us, we will continue to build the SP and curation trail.

###### As mentioned earlier these new donations and earnings of sbd from posts will be reinvested to grow the SP so that the SOG members get a bigger hit to their upvote.  We have now started lengthening the leases from 13 to 20 weeks depending on market opportunities.
