Our beautiful grand-puppy Mya didn’t want to get up this morning, she was far too comfortable in her grandpa’s (my handsome husband’s) spot. :D

Her pretty mom Karma woke as soon as I went to take her picture and then she was full of energy and ready for a walk. :D

There was a layer of ice on our puddles and watering tub this morning, there was a chilly wind again this morning, but we also got a beautiful blue sky and sunshine to go with it and its supposed to warm up later. :D

My handsome husband started back to work this morning, but before he left, he let the chickens out and fed the cow babies their breakfast oats and hay. :D By the time I got outside all that was left to do was collect the eggs and the oats dishes, unroll the plastic from our garden bed and check everyone’s water. :D

The girls were just finishing their oats and moving on to their hay when I finished grabbing the dishes from the boys. :D

The whole pack was disappointed that they didn’t get to go for a walk today, it was cards day and by the time I got home, got supper going, fed my handsome husband, got the evening chores done, and we got the front pasture spread with lime there just wasn’t time to go, tomorrow’s another day though, Lord willing we’ll make the time to go and the weather will be nice enough. :D I had to use this picture from this morning, unfortunately the one I took of them in the front yard tonight didn’t come out. :D

I couldn’t see Belle (she was hidden by the little chicken coop), but she and Princess were also napping when I left, the warm sunshine makes for a lovely relaxer, perfect for napping. :D

We had a lot of fun teasing each other as we played cards this afternoon. :D The games were all close, but Ken and I won the first two of our three games, Brenda and her new partner Janet thankfully won the last one. :D I also picked up some fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies in trade for some farm fresh eggs, yum. :D I didn’t realize it at the time, but I accidentally caught my reflection in the mirror on the wall between Ken and Brenda, so I’m in the picture too. :D

Both sows were out enjoying the sunshine when I was heading home and thankfully there were a few more piglets outside as well, too bad most of them were on the wrong side of their moms for me to get them in the picture. :D

Home again and the boys never even noticed me, I don’t know if I should be offended or not, LOL. :D

Grandpa just got home and decided to take a few minutes to relax before we went out to do the evening chores. :D It didn’t take more than a moment or two before his girls were there demanding his attention for belly/chest rubs and back scratches after missing him all day. :D
